Captain Wayne was excellent—friendly, patient, and great with all experience levels. His boat was beautiful, and he knew just where to find the fish. My son and I caught around a dozen during our 3-hour trip. It was a great experience from start to finish and one we’d highly recommend.

We were originally set to fish on Wednesday, but with a tropical storm in the forecast, Captain Wayne recommended moving it to Monday—and it couldn’t have worked out better. The weather was perfect with calm seas and a good tide for inshore fishing. We caught plenty of flounder, some jacks, a bluefish, and even hooked a few redfish (one made it into the cooler for ceviche—see photo). Captain Wayne even stayed out an extra hour to keep us on the bite. His boat is spacious, well-equipped, and built for comfort, and his easygoing attitude pairs perfectly with decades of local fishing experience. I’ve fished with guides across the country, and I’d fish with Flatfish Charters again anytime.
